These instructions will start with how to use csup to update your source and ports source trees, then configure your ports system to use our local repository for source downloads.

Using our local mirror server for Ubuntu 12.04

Say you wanted to update your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS system to use our repository (recently upgraded).
Just follow these instructions and you’ll be using our repository for your updates. The Ubuntu update system will fall back to their repositories as/if needed.
If you are a VMware vSphere user then skip their tools and instead install open-vm-tools. Never worry again about having the right modules installed for your running kernel.

Using our local mirror server for Ubuntu 10.04

Just follow these simple instructions and you’ll be using our repository for your updates. Don’t worry, Ubuntu’s update system will fall back to their repositories as needed.
