If you have used Eudora before for another mailbox, which you want to keep intact and separate from your ipHouse mailbox, then you will need to add a new personality to Eudora to handle your ipHouse mailbox.
To add a new personality to Eudora, start by pulling down the "Special" menu, then select "Settings..."
Scroll down the list of icons on the left side of the window until you find the "Personalities" icon, then click once on it.
Click on the "New" button at the top of the section. Eudora will create a new personality, and allow you to enter the new account information.
First, name this personality. We recommend using your e-mail address.
Enter your e-mail address as your Username. Your e-mail address is normally the username you chose when you set up your ipHouse account, followed by "@iphouse.com".
For example, "yagyu@iphouse.com".
Next, decide whether you want to handle your incoming e-mail via POP or IMAP. Enter the Incoming Mail Server, either "pop.iphouse.com" for POP access, or "imap.iphouse.com" for IMAP access.
Enter your Full Name.
Enter "smtp.iphouse.com" as the SMTP Server.
Enter your e-mail address again as your Return Address.
Check the box next to "Allow authorization".
Next, click on the "Personality Extras" icon.
Select the appropriate Mail Protocol for handling your incoming e-mail, either POP or IMAP.
Click on the "OK" button at the bottom of the window to finish setting up your e-mail account. Eudora should now try to download or access any e-mail messages you have waiting on the ipHouse mail server.
