Outlook Express 6 for Windows

[support/email/oe6_win/icon.png]

Microsoft Outlook Express 6 is an e-mail client written by Microsoft, available for Microsoft Windows 98 through 2000. Outlook Express is a component program of Internet Explorer, and should already be installed on your PC if you have Internet Explorer installed.

Most modern e-mail clients can handle your incoming e-mail via either the POP or IMAP methods. POP normally downloads all your incoming e-mail to your own computer and removes it from the ipHouse mail server, whereas IMAP leaves it on the server and allows you to read it remotely. IMAP allows you to read all your e-mail from anywhere you have access to an IMAP capable mail program (including Webmail), but if you leave a lot of e-mail on the server you may run out of room for new e-mail.
