ipHouse T1 service is simply the best T1 service available. At 1.5 Mbps in each direction, a T1 provides enough connectivity for small and medium businesses that rely on the Internet to succeed.
Other providers will sell you a "bundled" solution that puts all the eggs in one basket. Why take a chance on combining your voice and data services? Why settle for a Voice company trying to be a Data company? Your data service should be provided, protected, and monitored by ipHouse.
At ipHouse we carefully monitor circuits for latency, availability and usage, notifying you of possible congestion or outages if problems should arise. We can deliver a single T1 circuit, or bond up to 8 T1's to create a single 12 Mbps link. Bonding allows you to grow into larger services without having to immediately replace your equipment.
ipHouse uses all major carriers to provide transport of your data back into our Secure Data Center. Carrier neutrality allows you to pick the provider that suits your needs. We never force you to use one carrier over another.
All T1 accounts come standard with:
- 10 self-managed e-mail boxes with spam and virus filtering
- Extensive monitoring of availability, usage and latency of the connection
- In addition to monitoring the connection, we can monitor services (mail or web) on your network with notifications sent directly to your cell or pager
- All necessary IP space to route your network correctly
- 1 ipHouse Dialup account with 20 hours / month is included to provide "out-of-band" connectivity and testing for your connection.
ipHouse offers T1 service via either a dedicated Point to Point or Frame Relay. Your geographic location determines which solution is best suited for your environment. Contact our Internet Gurus™ now for a T1 quote.

T1 vs. DSL
Will my T1 be faster than DSL at home? We are asked this question quite often but this is not a yes or no question. A T1 is a business-grade circuit that delivers 1.544 Mbps for both download and upload. A typical DSL circuit can provide speeds greater than 1.5 Mbps for downloads, but only if you are close enough to a Central Office. All Qwest DSL services are restricted to a maximum of 896 Kbps for upload. A T1 is 1.544 Mbps for both upload and download, no matter your distance from a Central Office. T1 circuits see a much faster response time if there is trouble, where DSL is considered a residential-grade service that may see a 24-hour to 48-hour response if a problem occurs. Lastly, T1 transport by design has a much lower latency than DSL or Cable solutions. T1 is truly a business grade service.
